I always have mixed feelings about plates and mentalities like this one. If it’s in good fun and the owner isn’t a jerk, then it’s fine. But I’ve found, from being active in the Ford and GM communities, that a lot of it is toxic and childish. I still remember the pissing matches on LS1tech and SVTperformance. And when I sold my 03 Cobra for a C5Z, some seemed to be personally offended.

Regarding the plastidip look... that's just tacky and cheap looking.

I like custom plates if it is in good fun, too.... why I don’t want them myself (we all make mistakes driving) it’s easier to remember SLVRG35 than EA3-1114 or whatever. ‘Cause people get pissed and will remember your plate.

Go a little bit further South East Raleigh into JoCo and it’s not just tinted lights but multiple  additional LEDs and six inch lifts on the front and stock springs on the rear. I haven’t seen it on a corvette yet but just give it time.

Tha t never occured to me, maybe because I am such a great driver that no one would ever get upset with my driving. Or maybe I am shittiest of the shits, drive be like crap and never occurred to me to think about who I pissed off or gave a rat’ s ass if I did.
